This is an introduction to fasting on seven consecutive days. You will be introduced to different styles of fasting. From Sunday to Tuesday we will explore the 16/8 fasting method: 16/8 fasting means eating within a window of eight hours each day (such as from 12pm to 8pm) and not eating during the remaining 16 hours. My aim will be to motivate you to eat very mindfully in your 8 hours eating window. In the fasting period we will only drink water or herbal tea.

This will be the perfect preparation to explore two further full fasting days on Wednesday and Thursday. We will practice the Buchinger fasting method which I have practised since many years at regular half yearly intervals. On these days we will only drink water and prepare our own fasting broth or juice. All recipes and instructions for the course will be provided for you. You will be prepared for these two days with lots of natural self-care tips and ideas to make this an exciting and joyful experience, and of course a little challenging too!

We will come out of the Buchinger fast on Friday with a period of two days in which we slowly build up to regular eating again by consuming very little and very mindfully.

I will of course fast with you and hand on much of the knowledge and teaching I received over the past years. You will experience, particularly when we are in the Buchinger method, what a profound effect fasting can have on your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. In our WhatsApp and online gatherings there will be ample time to explore and share your personal experience of fasting.
